Blank Popup Windows using FPL Script display
Using the FPL script display command
to open documents that require an external application to open them, e.g.
Microsoft Word or Microsoft Excel documents can leave a blank popup window.
Enabling JavaScript through Accessibility attempts to display the document in a
new window. Netscape, Mozilla Firefox
and Opera require a separate plug-in to display the document. If the
plug-in is not configured to display the document using Netscape, Mozilla
Firefox
or Opera, the browser prompts to open file in an external application or to
save the file to disk.
Popup windows must be enabled/allowed
through Netscape or Mozilla Firefox
when JavaScript is enabled. If popup windows are disabled, the browser will not
prompt to open the file.

and Mozilla Firefox plug-ins and
install them to view external documents, see Netscape

Using Opera to open PDF files sometimes results in corrupted data
displayed within the browser window.
Opera can be configured to save the PDF Document to the users’
hard disk or using an Adobe Acrobat plug-in.
